Happy weekend to you all!
My monkey is doing a lot better, thank goodness, just wish he could be healthy enough so I can take him to the park so he can get extra energy out. Had fun at a local bookstore and got some cool classics, although not Sherlock Holmes series, unfortunately.
From page 56
"Doesn't anyone want to know what Mona said? She said he threw a week-long banquet and, days in, asked Vashti to leave the women's banquet and come appear in front of his men-in her CROWN.
"So?
"Dont you get it? In her crown. That means naked.
"How does that mean naked?"

I want to know how that means naked as well... lol... Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteLOL same here. Maybe I should have included a bit more, but this is a story from The Book of Esther about Queen Vashti. Guess I should have saved it up for March for Purim...
DeleteI'm assuming they mean wearing *only* her crown? Sounds like a fun scene, though! Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Friday post.
That's what I think too :) Thanks and happy reading to you too!
DeleteWell, what did she say? :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, more gossiping, some arguing and eventually it was an assumption :D apparently Vashti never checked in on what he meant by 'in her crown'.
