Title of the book: White Fragility; Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism Author: Robin Diangelo  Publisher: Beacon Press Publishing Date: 2018 ISBN: B07638ZFN1 Summary: The New York Times best-selling book exploring the counterproductive reactions white people have when their assumptions about race are challenged, and how these reactions maintain racial inequality. Referring to the defensive moves that white people make when challenged racially, white fragility is characterized by emotions such as anger, fear, and guilt and by behaviors including argumentation and silence. These behaviors, in turn, function to reinstate white racial equilibrium and prevent any meaningful cross-racial dialogue. In this in-depth exploration, anti-racist educator Robin DiAngelo examines how white fragility develops, how it protects racial inequality, and what can be done to engage more constructively. What else can I write besides the fact that I am living in a new COVID-19 hotspot and that I feel as if the world is over? I always admire Medieval Ages and have been fascinated by Black Death (Bubonic Plague), but I don't want to experience it firsthand, and never wanted to experience it firsthand. Disappointment weighs heavily on my soul that my four year old son is experiencing a year I never wanted him to experience and I feel helpless to do anything about it. What I learned about myself through these difficult terms is that I don't go with mob mentality; I can't do that. I am a questioner by nature, someone hungry for knowledge. I promise to post more reviews these upcoming months and hopefully there will be positive news. If not, I will be doing my best to stay safe. Pictures will be added later. (Blogger can't add pictures straight through links, which means I have to save pictures and then upload them...)  Books/spotlights:  Bound; A Daughter, A Domme, and an En
