I have to admit that was a bit mind-blowing, especially considering the addictive nature of anger. Reason I am bringing up is because, well, just as one situation is resolved for the better (yay!) there is always a reminder of lack of something within me. I long for moments of the past, when I was in my twenties, exploring what is long gone. I do my best to find happiness in my thirties, but at almost 38 years of age, there aren't mo

Maali Almeida—war photographer, gambler, and closet queen—has woken up dead in what seems like a celestial visa office. His dismembered body is sinking in the serene Beira Lake and he has no idea who killed him. In a country where scores are settled by death squads, suicide bombers, and hired goons, the list of suspects is depressingly long, as the ghouls and ghosts with grudges who cluster round can attest. But even in the afterlife, time is running out for Maali. He has seven moons to contact the man and woman he loves most and lead them to the photos that will rock Sri Lanka. Ten years after his prize-winning novel Chinaman established him as one of

I am pretty sure that I spent the week inside just doing my usual of reading, playing games and trying to take care of my son. We did end up celebrating Father's Day on Saturday, which was fun, but other than that, the same in my opinion. More than likely this will be last time in a long time that I will get books. I am trying to prepare myself for acceptance of bad news for me, and I am not sure its working.  Last Week On The Blog This Week On The Blog New Arrivals At svetlana's reads and views     It's Monday! Turns out he has bacterial infection therefore I had to pull him out of swimming. I also began to attend a meditation class of sorts which honestly helps me emotionally. We also went to the library where my son checked out twenty or so books. Other than that, everything seems to be the same.  Last Week On The Blog This Week On The Blog New Arrivals At svetlana's reads and views It's Monday!
