#57 No Fear

When I imagine receiving certain news that involves a short life, I don't get afraid or terrified or anything. I feel resolute and think, in hindsight I might have led a good life. I lived a life of traveling through books, being hurt by people. In a way, I accomplished what I desired to do, aside from ever marrying. But I do have a son, I have read a lot of books and I did learn a whole lot. I don't imagine that I would be bargaining or anything like that. It would probably be a relief and kind of sadness but also resoluteness too. Weeks have been disappointing.

My son is enjoying Boxcar children and we went to library and got a few cool books, namely lots of Boxcar children mysteries, as well as Great Illustrated Classics Sherlock Holmes, to which he seems to have mixed feelings (He complained that Sherlock Holmes solved the case too quickly) but he does like it, I believe.

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Paragraph: So I'm reading THE DARKNESS BEFORE THEM as well as ENGINES OF CHAOS. ENGINES OF CHAOS is good in my opinion although I'm only midway and will see if I will continue on with third book in the future. THE DARKNESS BEFORE THEM by Matthew Ward, however, I am not liking it. I think mainly its to do with writing style and the fact that writing style isn't really good for my ADHD because I have no idea what to pay attention to.
