#55 Fall Break

For my son fall break was a lot of fun; we went to the zoo and then to a pumpkin farm and he also traveled a lot to different stores. There was also the local partial solar eclipse which was pretty exciting (I wore special glasses for that) inside though, I am conflicted and sad over what is going on in the world. I feel sadness and a bit of anger over what is going on, over what certain groups are consigned to. I also made a decision to read a certain book because why not honestly?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Paragraph: I read books, finish them, but reviewing them is quite another story. Yet I kind of have to review them because, well, ten books are awaiting my thoughts. I am not quite sure what I am seeking, maybe one of the old classics that I own perhaps? (Think Fanny Burney, Alexandre Dumas, George Eliot, Maria Edgeworth, etc.)
