Personal Opinion:

The Alycat books definitely piqued interest in my four year old son, although it's a pity that I don't think they were in our local library. If I was to ask my son what he liked, I believe he will say he loved the illustrations and the story. ( He also remembers the previous Alycat book I showed him; Monday Blues.) Like Monday BLUES, Tournament Tuesday has a sweet story and beautiful as well as vibrant illustrations of Alycats friends as well as a wonderful message of believing in the self.
