# 46 Its school time

So school has started, my little one has begun second grade and I have been attempting in trying to set limits with watching the tablet, mainly by hiding it so he won't get tempted. He also has been going through reading Garfield pretty much all the time. He got invited to a birthday party, but doesn't want to go because its at a pool and because he doesn't know how to swim and doesn't want anyone to laugh at him. I feel kind of hurt he doesn't want to go, but then its his life, so to speak, not mine.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Paragraph: So I have finished up THE SUN AND THE VOID which is pretty good actually, and have started THE MASK OF MIRRORS by M.A. Carrick. Its definitely reminiscent of Hostage of Empire series by S.C. Emmett which I like, and it has lots of charm of Melissa Carusso's trilogy. But I do think there are parts that are little too much if it makes sense, or parts that might be slightly cut out. I should really review other books I've finished, which I'm kind of trying to do but can't so far.
