#33 Loneliness

I definitely have been feeling alone. On Saturday we celebrated mother's day by visiting my younger sister and just enjoying each other's company. Other than that, I've been a documentary mood and have been watching quite a few interesting documentaries. On Sunday my son officially became a Wolf of Cub Scouts. I keep hoping for certain books but so far not happening...so yeah.

For the curious, I am proud to say I don't have any friends outside my family, and if one is to ask me why I feel that way, all I will mention is my negative experiences with former friends. Am I lonely? Yes. But I'd rather be lonely and suffer from loneliness than have people as friends who are liars as friends.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Paragraph: I will soon finish reading THE REVENGE LIST by Hannah Mary McKinnon and have begun reading Rowenna Miller's novel, THE FAIRY BARGAINS OF PROSPECT HILL which I'm kind of feeling neutral about. It's quite similar to THE MAGICIAN'S DAUGHTER by H.G. Parry. After THE REVENGE LIST, it will be THE SHADOW OF THE GODS by John Gwynne.
