Personal Opinion:

If you are looking for a book to improve the writing or where quality counts more than quantity, then this will not be the right book because the author advocates shorter writing and stories rather than 500 page novels. Although I hadn't used the advice in the book, I do hope to become a published writer and I have to say that a lot of things the author talks about does make sense and fits in with the period I know.

In addition to advice and tips on how to use amazon to one's best advantage, this also comes with a second book which talk about reviews and how to go about getting them. After reading these two books, some of the things have started to make sense in terms of my own blog life.

"...Amazon is less of a store and more of a search engine. And with that model in mind, I need to tell you right up front that there is no instant anything when it comes to ranking on amazon. Yes, you can tweak your keywords, categories, and themes and see your book sales spike, but the bigger issue is keeping those sales up.

"Understanding amazon and knowing how to use it to your advantage is vital to keeping those sales. up." (7)
