Characters:
Chance seemed a little too perfect for me and somewhat unrealistic. If a girl constantly rejects a guy, then the guy will try to find someone else instead of trying to get a girl that doesn't want him. I feel that once more the characters are a tad bit too perfect and unrealistic. It is also nice to get an update with Michael and Katherine as well as Destiny and Tyler who have a larger role in this book. In particular I would have liked to get to know more about Bradley and Caroline's mother, why both rejected love, as well as a resolution between what she found out about her father and the way her mother lived. Antagonists were one dimensional in my view and if antagonists aren't well developed, then the story loses tension and so forth.

Plot:
Just like the previous two books, its written in first person narrative from Caroline's and Chance's points of views. I found the antagonists lacking and couldn't understand their motivations or reasons as to why they do the things they do. I think if I could understand them, I might have given this book five stars instead of four. There is tension and the writing style is addictive, for I finished this book in just two days.

Tracey Smith grew up in Southern California, but as a teenager moved with her family to a small town in Arkansas. It was in Arkansas that she met and fell in love with the man of her dreams, who had also recently moved to the state. Fate brought them both to that small town and into each other’s lives and that is where they continue to live today raising their two children and living out their happily ever after.
Opinion:
While longer and more character development is evident, along with not a lot of time jumps, I still had problems with lack of understanding the antagonists and why they behaved the way they did which frustrated the story for me. Despite that problem, this is a very engaging story that kept me reading. There is tension and chemistry between Chance and Caroline, but unfortunately I didn't find this story as sweet as Love's Fate and Love's Destiny. Perhaps I couldn't relate to any of the characters there, or perhaps there weren't sweet moments as in the previous books, or maybe I tended to be familiar with the writing style. Still, a sweet conclusion to a multi-generational love story.
