Last week he and a friend along with me and friends parents visited an aquarium where the boys had a ton of fun, on Tuesday. (Day off from school due to election...which was odd in my opinion.) followed by Braum's. Next day my son insisted on going over to another playground to have an impromptu playdate with the said friend. We also went to the library where he checked out about 27 or so books, putting at least four books on hold. I feel resolute and think, in hindsight I might have led a good life. I lived a life of traveling through books, being hurt by people. In a way, I accomplished what I desired to do, aside from ever marrying. But I do have a son, I have read a lot of books and I did learn a whole lot.
