#61 Sick and Sick

Last week, predictably, all four of us got sick which means the Thanksgiving celebration we had, it was only the four of us. Also, my crown fell but luckily the dentist did it for free. Seriously, other than that, I'm not sure what else to write about? Life returned as usual with me getting my son to school and just doing my usual things. I am not sure what is going on with a certain company but I am continuing to read the books they have sent me. I am still kind of sick though, unfortunately. For December, I am thinking of doing what I did last year; whatever books I get throughout the month of December will act as my New Years presents. I can hardly believe that December is mere days away.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Paragraph: So my book review count is definitely rising which is both good and bad. Good because I can start new books, and bad because I have to write reviews for them and I have about seven or eight books to review. Right now I'm reading ASHES OF THE SUN by Django Wexler as well as HOUSE OF ODYSSEUS by Claire North, and yes both are good books, especially ASHES OF THE SUN. Because I'd read the third book, for some odd reason I thought that ASHES OF THE SUN wouldn't be as good, but it is good and it also has given me few favorites I met in third book.
