Aoléon and Gilbert investigate the Luminon to try and uncover the plot to invade Earth to steal it’s milk cows. In the process, they discover a disturbing revelation about the Martian leader. After overhearing the Luminon discuss his plans to use sabotage to disrupt Mars’s galact supply, the duo races to try and to warn Aoléon’s father Deimos, who is a manager at the galactworks plant before the saboteur can act.
Meanwhile, Aoleon has to take her pilots exam, which would enable her to eventually join the Martian intergalactic explorational fleet. However, during the test-run, something goes horribly wrong. The two are put in a life threatening situation that only Bizwat, a Procyon commando, and Aoléon’s friend can save them from.
Gilbert finally gets his chance to learn to skyboard. However, things go horribly wrong and they are chased by the Royal Paladin guard.

Characters:
The main characters include Aoleon and Gilbert, and like in previous parts, their personalties are fully shown. The supporting characters are also shown but they don't have the depth that Aoleon and Gilbert have, aside from one of Aoleon's classmates. (Who it might, I will not mention.) Aoleon continues to be an adventurous and a plucky girl who has a magnet for trouble finding her, although she also does reveal a very frightened and vulnerable side where she needs Gilbert's help with something. Gilbert seems more of a tag-along but whenever necessary he does his best in helping Aoleon in times of trouble and seems to be also a leader whenever necessary. I have to say that Aoleon is a pretty unique female protagonist, and its not because she's a Martian. In a lot of fiction that I come across, a woman is the type that gets in trouble, but the man rescues her from the trouble. What's unique about Aoleon is that while she does get into trouble, she also is capable of rescuing herself from the trouble.
Theme:
I think I learned two themes from the story; one being that a friend is very important for health and life, and the second thing I've learned is that everyone has weaknesses and strengths.
Plot:
The story is written in third person narrative from Aoleon's and Gilbert's as well as the antagonists' points of view. If you are hoping that the action and the story picks up from the leisurely pace of the second part, then your prayers are answered; if you are hoping for leisurely reading devoid of action, then this isn't the right part for you. I did appreciate the action and wanted the story to go on more.

Opinion:
Its best to read parts I and II before reading this part because this isn't meant to be a stand-alone novel, and as I imagine, if a newcomer arrives without having any idea as to who the characters are, they will get lost by the world, the technology, the jargon and the characters. The story, right from the start, quickly gets down to business by introducing the reader to the antagonists, and the evil plan of sabotaging galactoworks and the plan to conquer earth and steal cows. The story is also very action filled and has a strong friendship between Aoleon and Gilbert where they lean on each other rather than one acting as either the hero/heroine. After introduction to Aoleon's world, I appreciated the action and what was going on even more. With that said, can't wait for Part IV with the cows hehe.
Illustrations:
Just like the previous two parts, the illustrations are intricately carved and well done in my opinion. I really do wonder how the author creates such amazing and breath taking pictures that really makes me wish I could go to Mars in real life. What amazed me the most are the backgrounds for the characters and how details are well attended. Also, the pictures of Draco race really reminded me of a favorite childhood cartoon named Mighty Ducks, the villains from that show anyways.
