#36 The curse of June 2023
Right from the start, June 2023 is proving to be a bad month. How bad? I am pretty sure that I was kicked out of a reviewer's group which makes me very heartborken because I was really enjoying reading all types of fantasy. My son has a very persistent cough so we pretty much stayed the week at home, and I cross my fingers that he will be able to attend swimming class tomorrow. Also, someone I hoped would come back, did but is unemployed therefore the chance of me seeing this person is nil, at least until that person gets a job. I already am wishing for July to come...I also am preparing for weeks and weeks of no books arriving.

June 6: Books or Covers that Feel/Look Like Summer (You can interpret this in a number of ways. Maybe the covers or titles are obviously summer themed, but maybe the feeling the book gives you is all warm and summery. Maybe the book cover colors look summery or the story itself takes place in the summertime. Or maybe the titles you select are favorites that you re-read every summer when you were on break from school.)

Prompts: With pride month in June, Black history month in February, Women’s history month in March, and so many more, themes related to race, identity and social justice hold a lot of significance for many communities.
