#43 Arm Pain and a-holes

So for the last week or so, my left arm and part of shoulder have been really hurting me a lot. I think so far pain kind of passed maybe. Something I looked forward to on Friday, well it turned out that the person is grade-A breadcrumber a-hole. I am still mad at him about what happened. I planned on meeting that person on Friday (for context I hadn't seen that person since May 2023, literally) but then the person canceled at the last minute claiming that a co-worker refused to let them go, plus oh goodness they forgot to pay for a ticket...What I hear: everything else is more important than meeting with me. My son and I went to a splash pad on where he had a lot of fun, and soon art class will begin,

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Paragraph: I have eight books that I need to review, which means I should start writing reviews for them very soon, and I promise that I will. I am liking the Jessica Jopp book as well as Bridget Walsh book, both beautifully written novels. FROM THE LONGING ORCHARD by Jessica Jopp would definitely be described as an ideal summer read for me because during summer I enjoy reading novels that are more visual than action oriented, which is what this book is.
