#35 School's out for summer

It's official: school's out for summer. My son was invited to a b-day party in July and we have begun working on Lego Titanic. (Can I say he's pretty obsessed with doing and finishing it?) He is looking forward to swimming classes, and I made some minor plans on when he will be doing some summer learning work thanks to the things teachers provided. I had a chance to have a good Friday with certain someone although no idea if I'll see that person soon again.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Paragraph: It's amazing how much I have forgotten from second book when I began to read the first one! But its awesome to be back in the world with my favorite characters, and see the evolution of the plot. I am continuing to read Rowenna Miller novel and will soon be done with reading her. Am I liking it? Yes. Am I crazy about it? To be honest not really. For some odd reason my brain keeps thinking the story is set in United Kingdom/Great Britain when in fact its set in USA, possibly Indiana.
